There’s a myth going around that a reading nook needs a whole spare room. It doesn’t!

A single chair, a good light and one comfy blanket can do the entire job.

So many people skip this project thinking it has to be expensive or huge. Honestly, most of the best nooks I’ve seen come from one thrifted chair and a few small touches.

This list came together after scrolling through way too many pins, lol! I kept only the ideas that looked doable in a real living room, not a magazine spread.

Some of these lean cozy and soft. Others lean bright and layered with pattern. Either way works.
