Looking for y2k street style outfits with a little more than a baby tee and jeans? Think butterfly tops, oversized cargos and little shoulder bags.

These looks give you plenty to choose from, whether you love a matching burgundy set or bright pink pants.

You can keep things simple or go all out with chains and stars. I especially love the printed headscarves here.

Start with your favorite top and bottoms, then pick the extras you’d actually want to wear.

Y2K Outfit Ideas Worth Saving

graphic tee and oversized cargos

We’re starting off strong with this oversized graphic tee and dark cargo pants. I love the white sleeves peeking out underneath.

The rectangular glasses and little shoulder bag are so cute together.

Try clipping a few charms to a belt loop if you want that extra detail at the waist.

burgundy from top to bottom

How cute is this matching burgundy set? The fitted zip-up top and flared pants look so good with that big burgundy bag.

Keep the narrow sunglasses and gold-tone earrings if you want to follow the same look. There’s no need to add another color here.

butterfly top and tiered mini

I am obsessed with this butterfly top. It’s so pretty, plus the little blue skirt has both a frayed edge and ruffled tiers.

The collage pairs them with pale pointed heels and a blue shoulder bag. Don’t forget a long cross necklace if you want that same mix of details.

olive top and leopard scarf

This headscarf may just be one of my favorite accessories here. I love the leopard print with the plain olive tube top and dark baggy cargos.

Tie an eyelet belt with a long end at the side to follow this outfit. The green-and-white sneakers are a cute finishing touch.

black jacket and camo shorts

If you want to switch things up from full-length cargos, try these long camo shorts. They’re paired with a black high-neck top, a dark zip-front jacket and tall black boots.

The oversized headphones and dark sunglasses keep the accessories just as noticeable as the outfit.

burgundy jersey and waist chains

If you are looking for lots of accessory inspo, then this one is for you. There’s a burgundy bandana, a leopard shoulder bag and several chains hanging across the long blue shorts.

I especially love the striped tie worn at the waist instead of the neck. Try that detail with a simple jersey if you don’t want to recreate every accessory.

white bell sleeves and flared jeans

The white top and dark flared jeans are so cute in this collage. Those wide sleeves and little side ties on the pants make the pairing feel anything but plain.

Choose white high-tops to follow the picture. A black buckle bag gives you a darker accessory without adding another color.

brown hoodie and frayed mini

Want a skirt outfit with a zip-up hoodie? This brown printed one looks adorable over the white top, with a pale blue frayed mini underneath.

The tan boots have cream trim around the tops. I’d keep the round pendant too; it’s such a pretty detail against the open neckline.

white halter and wide gray jeans

I love this white halter with its gathered rows and little flared hem. The extra-wide gray jeans make the outfit look completely different from a matching skirt set.

Try a long cream tie at the waist like the one here. Keep a brown shoulder bag and layered gold-tone necklaces for the finishing touches.

striped top and shaggy boots

The boots are definitely my favorite part of this collage. Their big shaggy shape is so fun beside the wide blue jeans and fitted striped top.

Layer the black hooded jacket over the stripes to try the whole combination. The floral cutouts on the brown belt are worth a closer look too.

number tee and pointed shoes

If you are looking for something simple to put together, this one is for you. A white number tee and loose gray cargo pants make up most of the look.

Now add a small red shoulder bag to pick up the red on the shirt. The white pointed shoes with buckle details are an unexpected extra.

gray layers with pink accents

How cute is the pink and gray pairing here? The gray hoodie and pants sit over a white cropped top, with a pink patterned layer tied around the waist.

I love how the pink handbag carries that color through. Try a gray beanie under your hood if you want to keep the same layered look.

openwork sleeves and drawstring pants

Don’t want to go overboard with the accessories? No problem! Try this cream top with openwork sleeves and loose gray drawstring pants.

The large hoops and tinted glasses give you plenty to work with. I’d leave the rest just as simple.

pale blue tie-front layer

This is actually one of my favorite color combinations on the list. The pale blue tie-front layer is so pretty over the burgundy lace-trimmed top.

Pair yours with faded low-rise jeans and a burgundy shoulder bag. A small gold-tone chain belt is a lovely extra if you want to follow the details here.

striped sweater and pleated mini

I am obsessed with this striped openwork sweater and little pleated skirt. The patterned black tights and tall pointed boots make the outfit a little darker than the other skirt looks.

Keep the fringed shoulder bag if you like that more-is-more feel. Its eyelet strap is such a good detail.

camo tank and bright pink pants

Who says camo has to stay with neutral colors? These bright pink pants look so cute with the fitted camo tank and pink straps peeking out above it.

Try stacked bracelets and a long round pendant to follow the accessories. The pants already bring plenty of color.

white tank and gray camo

Don’t want bright pink and want something a little simpler? This white cropped tank and oversized gray camo pants pairing is for you.

I love the layered gold-tone necklaces against the plain top. Finish yours with a pale baseball cap and chunky white shoes like the ones here.

black and white stars

The star fans are going to love this! There are stars on the baggy jeans, headphones, earrings and even the little hair clips.

Start with the white graphic top, cropped dark jacket and black-and-white sneakers. You can pick just a couple of the star accessories rather than wearing everything in the collage.

cream sleeves and slouchy leg warmers

I love this cream off-the-shoulder sweater with its big sleeves. The matching slouchy leg warmers look adorable above the dark buckle shoes.

A tiny gray pleated skirt and dark shoulder bag finish the outfit. Keep the large hoops if you want one more noticeable detail.

silver tube top and dark cargos

Last but definitely not least, we have this shiny silver tube top. I am obsessed with the gathered sides!

The dark cargo pants and small black bag keep the rest of the outfit simple.

Add a leopard-print headscarf and layered necklaces if you want to recreate this combination.
