You can keep things simple or go all out with lighting and built-in shelves. I especially love the corners that leave a little room for framed prints.

Corner desk setups worth saving

white shelves and golden light

We’re starting off strong with this gorgeous white desk and matching corner shelves. I love the glow beneath each shelf.

The little gold-colored accessories look so pretty beside the plants.

If you want to try the same look, keep your books mostly pale and add a gold-tone desk lamp.

green walls and floating shelves

The muted green walls and brown shelves are so cute together. This floating desk has a short return beside the window, with the monitor sitting on the longer side.

Let a trailing plant hang from an upper shelf like this one. You don’t need to fill every shelf to make the corner feel finished.

a curved inside corner

If you’re looking for a simple starting point, this one is for you. The long desktop wraps around two walls with a rounded inside edge and white drawer units underneath.

There’s no styled setup here yet, so you can really see the shape. I’d keep that curved section clear rather than filling it with storage.

cubbies and little wall organizers

This built-in setup may just be one of my favorites here. I love the white cubbies filled with books, baskets and trailing greenery.

The black drawer handles are a lovely little detail too.

Try a wall-mounted paper pocket above your desk if you want somewhere for notebooks without another pile on the desktop.

a desk around the bay window

How pretty is this window nook? The desktop follows the bay window, with drawers at either end and shelves on both side walls.

The patterned chair is my favorite part. If you have a similar nook, try a chair with a small repeating pattern rather than keeping absolutely everything plain.

baskets beneath the desk

If you’re looking for a desk with lots of places to tuck things away, go with a layout like this. Square cubbies sit beneath both sides, filled with baskets, boxes and paper trays.

I love the big star on the narrow shelf above. One larger decoration is a nice option when you don’t want rows of little accessories.

map prints and a pegboard

I am obsessed with this pegboard corner. The tiny shelves and hanging accessories are so cute beside the two black-framed map prints.

There’s also a low seat to the left of the desk. Keep that idea in mind if your office nook has room for a little more than a work chair.

rounded ends and sculptural legs

How cute is this desk? Not gonna lie, the stacked rounded shapes on the left leg are my favorite part!

The curved ends make it quite different from the straight-edged desks above.

I’d keep the desktop accessories simple here. A few flowers and a small lamp let you enjoy the shape.

a shared desk with a center return

Need inspiration for a larger shared office? This setup takes things beyond a single corner, with screens along the windows and a desk return extending into the room.

I love the books tucked into the side of that center section. Borrow the open shelving idea if you want storage you can reach without covering the top.

a narrow shelf tower

Don’t have room for a long L-shaped desk? No problem! This little corner uses a short desktop beneath a tall, narrow column of shelves.

The green pegboard and sunburst mirror are so pretty together. Try using the adjoining wall for a small organizer rather than squeezing everything onto the desk.

soft colors and fairy lights

I love this pale corner desk with the little fairy lights across the top shelf. The peach-toned prints and trailing plants are just too pretty together.

Keep your screen in the corner like this if you want to arrange shelves on both sides above it.

dark desktop and crossed legs

Don’t want to go all out with built-ins? Look no further because this freestanding L-shaped desk is for you.

The dark top and crossed legs look lovely against the blue-green walls.

A single shelf holds the decorations above the monitor. There’s no need to add several rows if one gives you the space you want.

a glowing triangle nook

If you are looking for a true eye-catcher, then this one is for you. The white triangular frame rises above the desk with little shelves tucked inside.

I love the gold-colored lamp and the photo grid beside it. Add a few favorite pictures to your own wall grid if you want that personal touch.

purple lighting and stacked drawers

This is a fun option if your desk is for gaming too. Purple light glows behind the wide monitor, with a second screen turned vertically beside it.

The white drawer stacks leave plenty of the brown desktop visible. Keep headphones on a stand like the one here if you’d rather not leave them lying beside your keyboard.

a little writing spot

This is another pretty built-in corner, but the chair faces a small angled section of the desktop. I love the open book in the middle and the long plant hanging down beside it.

You can keep a writing nook this simple. Leave a clear patch for your notebook instead of treating every bit of desk space as a place for decor.

a triangle outlined in lights

The triangular nook above is gorgeous, but this one gives you another way to try the shape. Tiny lights follow the sloping edges and continue along the back of the desktop.

The black lamp matches the dark screens. I’d keep those small accessories just as simple if the lighting is your favorite detail.

bedroom shelves and a corner desk

Have an empty corner beside your bed? This setup shows a desk tucked between the window and the bed, with three rows of shelves wrapping around above it.

I especially love the silver-colored lamp and pale framed prints. Try a small group of pictures below your shelves rather than adding more objects around your laptop.

two screens beside the window

If you like having your screens side by side, save this one. Two monitors sit on a long raised shelf while the laptop has its own spot on the left return.

The pale desktop looks so pretty beside the black window frame. Keep a matching pair of screen backgrounds if you like the coordinated look shown here.

a painted green backdrop

I am obsessed with this painted corner. The green stops below the ceiling, with white shelves sitting across it and a trailing plant at one end.

You don’t need an L-shaped desk to borrow this idea. Try a painted backdrop behind a small straight desk, then add a botanical print on the adjoining wall.

white curves beneath the shutters

Last but definitely not least, we have this simple white wraparound desk. I love the curved inside edge!

The tall drawers on the left and low cupboards under the left-hand section give this setup plenty of closed storage.

A little gold-colored lamp and leaning black frames finish the corner. I’d leave the longer section by the shutters mostly clear, just like this.
